Note: The Scholarship fee options above offer LIFA candidates a significant reduction in fees, and the opportunity to bypass the first two Stages, and sit directly for Stage III.

The 1-Year Scholarship requires that you sit for the Stage III LIFA exam within 1 year of your enrollment date at a Prometric exam center of your choice. The same principle applies to all of the enrollment options.

The enrollment options give you the flexibility that you deserve. According to CFA Institute, "no-show numbers have averaged 25% of the total enrolled candidates for the past 10 years" for CFA candidates, which is a huge percentage. A significant reason for no-shows is unforeseen conflicts that arise due to personal and professional issues. If you do not show for the CFA exam on the one date that it is offered, you lose your enrollment fee. There are no refunds for CFA exam fees.

With the LIFA Program enrollment options, you pay one enrollment fee for a particular period. If a conflict arises, you may reschedule your exam date for free, within your Scholarship window. If you were to fail the LIFA exam, you would not be required to pay another enrollment fee, as long as you sit for your re-take exam within your Scholarship date window. You do not have these options with other exams.

We have structured the enrollment options for virtually any candidate. Before you choose your Scholarship window (1, 2, 4, or 8-years), please consider your current exam readiness, your exam preparation requirements, and the anticipated conflicts which may impact your ability to sit for the LIFA exam.
